Time Magazine Strange Fruit

Does it matter what time of the day you offer baby cereal to your baby?
My daughter will be 6 months old in about 2 weeks. I have already started her on baby cereal b/c the doctor said it was fine to start. She loves it and has some fruits now introduced slowly and properly.
My question is… I read in a magazine that cereal should be the baby’s breakfast and baby food (veggie fruit..) for lunch all with formula too of course. But does it really matter if she eats for lunch and supper? I have a strange schedule with my husband on 2nd/3rd shift, and for him to watch her eat sometimes, she eats right before bed…
Will it hurt her any in the long run? make her a fat baby or something, is it unhealthy for her teeth or anything to be fed like that right before bath and bed?
Sorry I am a new mom and juat a little confused, I will ask my doctor in a couple of weeks but I wanted to know if anyone else does this and if the doctor said it was ok or not.
THANKS
Thank you all so much I really appreiciate your answers, it really does help.
No it doesn’t matter what time you feed baby cereal…just most people have cereal for breakfast so I think that’s why they say to give it for breakfast. But really you can give it anytime of the day. I used to give it to my son about a half hour before bed because I found he would sleep longer if I gave it to him shortly before bedtime since it would fill him up. But really you can give it anytime of the day. Just make sure she is still getting her formula too. And I certainly don’t think it makes a baby fat or hurts their teeth. My son used to eat a ton of baby cereal and he is no where near being fat. If you are concerned about keeping their teeth healthy make sure you brush them twice a day once she has at least 1 tooth. Before she gets any teeth make sure you just wipe down her gums with a clean washcloth.
