Seventeen Magazine Target Audience
English assignment, pretty easy. HELP PLEASE!?
Hi everyone! Im doing a mini english project. It would be greatly appreciated if someone knew about seventeen magazine and chatelaine magazine.
Can anyone tell me the following about the magazines:
Seventeen
Place of publication?
types of articles?
recipes, how to, opinion peices, personal experience etc?
article topics?
types of advertisements?
target audience?
and other???

Seventeen is a magazine targeted for woman 16 to 21, although girls as young as 12 read it and a lot of teen girl parents read it too. teenage men also read it bcz it helps then understand girls a lil more. occasionaly they’ll have a recipe or two, and the topics are usually about fashion or stuff that goes on in the real world. ads are usually stuff like for pads and tampons, perfume, soffees (sp?) shoes, etc. they also have horoscopes and funny, embarassing stories every issue, which is monthly, and runs about a month and a half early (i got my may issue the about last week of march/ first week of april). the articles are all about real girls and what happens to them in the real world.
