Questions about the storage of firearms?
I just purchased a Harding and Wesson .45 caliber handgun and want to store a full clip zone. Are the coils are again pushing the wear over time or are designed to compress the long term? Besides, what other points of view of people in arms Smith & Wesson fire?
Ray, the modern steel spring is so superior to the past. It will not harm your magazine or weaken the spring to leave the load. But the smart thing to do, is the first of each month, unloading of the magazine, the load and spare magazines. Just keep rotating between two or more and who will survive. S & Has long been W, but had a change of ownership among others. A few years ago, the company sold the gun owners gave to the then President Bill Clinton, limiting magazine capacity of 10 rounds or so (They did this to keep government contracts that it had) and of gun owners rebelled and stopped buying S & W products The company was sold, and the quality of returned products and their attitudes towards gun owner. The only real problem of gun S & W has been placed in the higher sigma series. This should be a "budget" gun type could not spend much for a gun.
