Can any writers please answer these questions?
ok, i have a great idea for a novel (I’m almost 14) but don’t let that change your opinion of me. i’ve already written 1 novel and many short stories. could you please answer these questions
1. How do you get yourself in a good writing mood??
2. should i self edit as i go along or only once I’m finished?
3. Does anyone else find that they write better when they write by hand not type??
4. what are some good publishing companies i could send it too (when I’m finished?
5. Do you know of any good writing magazines that ship to australia, that has writing tips and also publishes short stories and poems?
1. To get my self in the mood i have to be alone and thinking. i usually get my ideas after i listen to music or from personal experience. then i change it up a bit.
2. i do not edit until i am done writeing for the day. if you edit while writing you might loose your ideas. so its best to write down your story first.
3.I find i write better by hand sometimes. I carry a notepad where ever i go so if i get any ideas i jot them down Then when i get home i type up my story.
4.That i do not know. I know there are alot all over New york. but you shouldnt send them in. You should walk around Manhattan and bring them in your self. They like that better. And you should find a publishing agent.
