Magazine Design Jobs

What is important if I want to draw and edit a magazine?
Well, I have to know what I'm major in college (my school is undecided). I was thinking about journalism but after writing numerous articles, news, etc. (I write for school paper) I realize that writing articles and prefer the creative side of newspaper production … How to make housing on each page, keeping the design, etc. My ideal job would be consistent an editor of my own magazine (I love writing edition an article from others, but not to write articles myself). My review would be in the fashion and creative focus largely on the design elements and photography give the impression that modern and coherent. Anyway, what do I matter? Journalism? But I do not focus my academic career to write political articles or doing investigative journalism, because these things! What should I do? Ah! Thanks!
If your dream job is to be an editor, so maybe I should major in English and journalism that focuses more on writing rather than editing. If I like the design so that you may consider a graphic design expertise and specialization in English in college in the state. What you prefer Moreover, editing or design of the major and minor in the other. I worked for a publishing company and two of these jobs do not really have much to do with the other. I was one designer, but I've never had to read and edit articles, that's what the writers and editor in chief had to do. Therefore, Unless you finish creating his own magazine that you really do a job. Good luck to all!
